So, why would somebody pay to click on the links?I searched for answers and finally talking to people in this business and then some articles on Internet helped me.

Everybody knows that multi-national companies pay huge money to TV channels. These companies employ experts to watch, how their advertising programs on TV is actually influencing viewers. They have realized that a regular TV viewer see the commercial only if it is very good otherwise he/she will change the channel. And most importantly, it should be really catchy to have the viewer see the commercial for the second time. This process requires too much effort on the part of ad makers. To find alternative means to let the viewers see the commercial, they have come up with a novel idea.
